The Ashford Valley Tickham Hunt need to raise a substantial amount of money each year in order to maintain the Hunt. Funds are raised through the various events which are organised by the ‘stalwarts of the Hunt’ who work tirelessly throughout the year.
Fund raising and the weather play an enormous part in the survival of the Ashford Valley Tickham Hunt, the weather we have no control over but fund raising we do,
Events held throughout the year to raise funds include the annual AVTH Horse and Fun Dog Show, social evenings, garden parties and our major fund raiser the annual Point to Point meeting held every Easter Saturday.
Volunteers of all abilities are always needed at events and your help would be very much appreciated.
The 200 club is run by Sue Palmer and begins at the start of each season.
The 200 Club is the Hunt’s own lottery, tickets cost £10 and for that your number is entered in up to 8 draws throughout the season and if you win your ticket goes back into the remaining draws. Prizes range from £15 to £50 (£100 on Boxing Day) and all proceeds go to the Hunt. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can buy, the more tickets you have the greater your chances of winning.
